Dimples

Hi All,

I’m Pat, Judy’s partner in crime for all things KDrama. As Judy says, we are hooked!

(It’s been so bad that we are thinking of starting a KDrama Anonymous group.) While Judy has covered broad subjects as what to watch, clothes and drama, I’m going to focus in on one small part of the human anatomy: dimples. I’m even going to take it a bit further and zero in on male dimples. Yes folks, this is a male dominated dimple post. While there are many Korean women actors who have dimples-Shin Min Ah in “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” is a standout-this post can only take so many swoon worthy dimples, and here the guys have it.

My flat out favorite is Hyun Bin, and for good reason. His portrayal of a North Korean soldier in “Crash Landing on You” is especially poignant because he is so serious in this role. When he finally flashes a smile, it’s a dimple one can’t forget…or deny. I’ve read that Hyun Bin finds his dimples can be a distraction to serious roles that he takes. (Poor guy). My second all time favorite is Kim Seon-ho in “Hometown Cha Cha Cha”. In fact, he and his costar, Shin Min Ah are dazzlers when they grin. They really could get the Best couple Dimple Award at any awards ceremony.

I’m realizing that my dimple comments are restricted to kdramas I’ve watched. You know what this means, don’t you? It’s time to watch more kdramas!
