Favorite Image?

It's hard to pick what would be my most favorite image from Korean Dramas that I've encountered. There are probably dozens of them including;

Misty forests where people evaporate
Striking colors of hanboks swirling around
Tall weeds swaying in the wind
Gorgeous Korean men gazing at me...

But I think my all-time favorite is how they depict someone dying or moving to the next stage of life. They focus on the person's body and slowly that body is replaced by 'embers' that drift into the sky and out of sight. It's an absolutely gorgeous image and is such a lovely way to depict this. ~ Judy

They used this technique in ‘Phantom Lawyer’ as well. In this one, though, they are dealing with people who have been MURDERED and their souls and bodies can’t leave earth until the crime has been solved. The fantastic actor, Yoo Yeon-seok, plays the hapless lawyer, and he’s great. He has the additional burden of inhabiting these poor souls and becomes them. The way he portrays a young girl is the best!
Really, though, Judy is right. When this happens in ‘Guardian. The Great and Lonely God’, it is Kleenex time. ~ Pat
