Quilting is my other hobby. For the past 14 years a group of my friends and I go to Wannamakaquilt Quilt Camp for 6 days of uninterrupted sewing! And yes, we spend all day sewing... even into the night!

This year we have a group of 77 ladies participating. (Alas no men, and certainly not any gorgeous Korean men.) But we do have one special guest. One of my friends is a bat specialist and spends much of her time rescuing & rehabilitating bats. Naturally her bats come with her to camp as their feeding schedule is pretty intense. Monsoon is featured in the photo below.
Any time you have 77 different quilters you get lots of styles, colors, & inspiration! Only one of these photos features my work; the rest are from other class attendees. Pretty impressive aren't we? ~ Judy

Yes, this was a wonderful camp! When I have time I will definitely watch a K drama on Youtube! :D

There are amazing quilts at quilt camp. Judy’s is the best. There is also an Iron Chef competitor among us. We got her autograph.
Monsoon is so cute and tiny! Has your friend tried making a bat-themed quilt? I think that would be cool!
