NO ONE IS SAFE…from me, that is

Pat here: I’ve mentioned in a few posts that I’ve been in Minneapolis for 8 weeks. Last week, as I was getting out of my car, I noticed two men walking past me (minding their own businessm BTW). As they went by I thought I heard that familiar cadence of Korean, and I was right!
Of course I accosted them. And here is a photo of them, which they gave me permission to use in this post.

Pat's new best friends in Minneapolis. No one is safe from the Gmamas...
Both are from Korea. Jinsu is a grad student at the University of Minnesota getting a doctorate in fashion merchandising. Haksun is a catholic priest. He has been a chaplain to Koreans going to school here and is now studying at the University of St. Thomas.
Naturally I had to tell them about my Kdrama obsession and give them my Kdrama Gmamas business card (shoutout to Judy for having the idea and printing them.) Here is the best part: both have watched Kdramas and enjoy them. When I confessed that I had watched Mr Sunshine three times, Haksun told me he had seen Goblin (aka Guardian) 9 times. SCORE!!
You never know who you’re going to meet (or in my case who you are going to accost) and how they are going to connect with your life.
I absolutely love this. Pat is much more assertive about acosting strangers than me. ~ Judy

Hi Pat! Starting Mr. Sunshine today! Can't wait to talk about it with you when you're back in 95616!
I don’t know Judy…..you seem pretty assertive in many environments making sure everyone has one (or several) of your cards!! And, I ask, do Koreans watch K-Dramas or movies? Are K-dramas called movies in Korea?
