Wild Weekend with a Gmama...

It's been 5 days since I wrapped up the Single Ladies Trip to LA and the Final BTS Concert in North America. It's taken me that long to recover. Let's just say that when you're in your 70's it can be a challenge to keep up with those in their 20's, 30's, & 40's. (My group consisted of Baby niece in her 20's, Bumblebee Niece in her 30's, Favorite Daughter in her 40's, and me!). There are some in my family who believe I am aging backwards.

But have no fear.... this Gramma was up for the challenge!

It started with painting my car for the concert. No one in Tucson honked, waved, or even noticed. But in LA people understood!

Eun has been doing lash lifts for 30+ years. I just learned what they were 3 weeks ago!

Next up was a 'Korean Lash Lift' in Korea Town organized by Baby Niece. For those of you ignorant of this beauty treatment I can describe it as applying a layer of Elmer's Glue to your upper lashes so that for about 5-6 weeks they are visible and no mascara is needed. Trust me when I say that I look like an ingenue.

Next we prepared for our night out at our favorite LA Club, 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.' We strongly recommend this adventure.... it features 70's & 80's music with a roller skating floor show, a dance routine with women in Jane Fonda workout clothes - or a Michael Jackson number. What could be better? Remember, when you patronize a bar like this as a 70+ year old woman you get lots of attention; thus men were crawling all over me and my group. I am refraining from posting the video of Favorite Daughter swinging her jacket wildly above her head while sporting a midriff revealing outfit...

I'll bet you wish you could look this good, don't you? Our matching outfits got lots of comments.

Sunday night was the BTS Concert at SoFi stadium. My group, along with 100,000 other people enjoyed the last performance in North America from this Kpop goup. They definitely know how to put on a fantastic show and even though we were in the upper level of the stadium we enjoyed it as much as those on the floor.

Wow, Judy! You knocked it out of the park! I guess that’s the wrong metaphor for SoFi Stadium, but you get my drift. What an adventure you had.

I do have two questions, though. First, were you really carrying your purse on the dance floor? If not for your silver hair, that’s a dead giveaway for old! Second, are you SURE the guy in the photo was excited to see you or was he just so shocked his face was frozen in place? ~ Pat
