We all notice the shoes off policy in Korean homes as depicted in Kdramas. But that's even starting to become more common in the US. How many of you noticed the difference in showering protocols?

I have rather fine hair. In order to look my absolute best I must shower and shampoo every morning to get maximum lift and volume for my hair. If I shower at night I closely resemble a drowned rat the next day. Certainly not the look needed to attract gorgeous, Korean men.
Koreans don't have this issue apparently. With their gorgeous, thick, black hair they are apparently able to shower in the evening & still look fabulous the next day. In fact, per Kdramas they typically shower before their evening meal! Meanwhile Americans are coming home from work, leaving their shoes on, and going to bed without a bath. I'll bet Koreans are appalled at this!
And, a recent show I watched took it to a new level for me. A man entered a hotel room to make use of the female escort and said "I'll shower first..." Wow, how considerate!
I'd like a show of hands..... who showers before dinner vs who showers in the morning? Let's see if my statement holds true! ~ Judy

I know NO ONE who showers before dinner, but I’m so glad Ji Chang-wook did it in this show.
Judy, you’re right. No one in Kdramas seems to have bed head! I wear a mask when I sleep, and my hair looks like I saw a ghost (or a demon or a goblin because we are talking about Kdramas) when I get up in the morning. I guess that’s what hats and scarves were made for.
I have a new best friend! Look at those glowing comments from gretchenbaz! Flash cards of gorgeous Korean men? The deck would be huge!
I, too, have found myself envious of the thick, black hair of Korean men. If I only had to dry my hair with a towel before bed, I’d be a happy camper. I also wear a mask. In the morning, my long, thin, blonde hair takes on a zombie-like appearance, sans the blood and dirt.
Somewhat related, does anyone know of a card deck or flash cards that have pictures and names of these beautiful men so that I might learn their names? I would find it very helpful. (I suppose I could make something. I would have it resemble a trivia game; who is it, what series/movies were they in, their MBTI, blood type, age, etc. Anybody w…
I thoroughly enjoyed the images in this post! You didn't tell us the names of the shows where we can see these guys getting wet.
As another fine-haired person, I just want to say I wish so badly I had Asian hair! And skin.
