As we age...

Judy here. You can spot different generations on Kdramas simply by the women's clothes.
20's and 30's the skirts are 3" long
40's and 50's they wear shapeless, loose shifts that hit mid calf
60 and up they finally get to make a fashion statement. Yes! They get to wear flowered pants with plaid shirts topped off with wide brimmed sun hats. Or baggy peddle-pushers with shirts and oversized vests. If they own it, they can wear it combined with anything else in their closet! And these grandmas are beloved.
I fit into category 3 and will be updating my wardrobe accordingly. Favorite daughter will be suitably impressed.

Judy, favorite daughter will be suitably UNIMPRESSED. This clothing is unbecoming to the max. (Is that still a slang phrase?) It’s bad enough I’ve got wrinkles, aching joints, and grey hair that won’t behave, but I’ll be damned if I’m going to wear an outfit like this. Case in point:
we are both following two groups of cool Korean senior citizens, The New Grey and Grannies. They are urbane, sophisticated, and sleek. I’m going to emulate them!
I like it, actually! ....don't forget the sunhat! or tinted sun visor! also, you'll need an ahjumma/halmeoni perm!
Judy, I'm so glad you are kidding about changing your wardrobe. You ARE kidding, right? Maybe peer pressure from Pat and me will deter you!
