Current Obsession

I just finished watching Rain or Shine, and I loved it…probably a little too much. I was thinking about how and where I watched it, and I thought I’d let you see how far an obsession can go. Keep reading.

Devices:

IPAD(s). I have been watching exclusively on my ipad, and to make sure I’ve got one handy, I’ve got TWO, one in the kitchen and one on my bedside table. They’re always charged and ready to go. I know this seems excessive (okay, it is), but one of them is old and slow and is used exclusively for Kdrama watching. At least that’s how I justify it.

IPHONE. No, I only have one, and I resisted watching a Kdrama on it until last summer when I visited my old friend, Tom, who says he uses his iPhone for everything including books and movies. I thought it would be too small, but it works!

Where:

This is where the obsession really becomes evident. I decided to keep track of where I watched Rain or Shine, and here goes:

HOME

In the bathroom (don’t ask,) the kitchen, the family room while supposed to be watching the news, the dining room, the bedroom. Are there any rooms left? Don’t think so.

OUT

The Electrify Charging Facility (do you know how long it takes to charge an EV?)

In a restaurant when I’m supposed to be doing Spelling Bee with my husband while waiting for a meal to arrive.

In a museum when I’m done with whatever we’re seeing. I always finish before you know who.

In the car driving anywhere.

In the car doing errands.

In a theatre waiting for the play to start.

PRETTY MUCH EVERYWHERE!!

My oh my, she's over the top! In comparison I am a relative babe-in-the-woods. I watch Kdramas on my TV at home and when flying long distances on my iPhone. That's it for me.... two devices in two locations. ~ Judy
