My husband and I are leasing a new car. You know what this means, don’t you? It means we will be spending countless hours at the car dealership waiting for this okay, that okay, this thing to be signed, that thing to be checked, and as they say on SEINFELD, yadda yadda yadda. (In Korean that's 무슨, 무슨, 무슨!)
I knew this was going to happen, so I came prepared. I brought my iPad with my latest Kdrama downloaded. I was ready for the yadda yadda yadda. Dalia was helping us. She’d scurry back and forth, getting whatever Daniel, the manager, needed. While Tony played on his phone, I got out my iPad and started to watch. I really didn’t think anyone could hear I had the volume so low.
When Dalia came back for the umpteenth time, she sat down and asked, “so what Kdrama are you watching?” It turns out she is a Kdrama fanatic, and she had the info on her phone to prove it. Of course I had to take a pic of her and show you all.
Believe me, it made the yadda yadda yadda go so much more quickly! It made me wonder what the most unusual encounter for our readers was, so weigh in! ~ Pat

Cute photo, and with her kdramas on her phone! My similar encounter was... A couple years ago I had a series of eight appointments for physical therapy for a stiff back. The young physical therpist was very nice, but our chit-chat was pretty superficial. On my LAST DAY of physical therapy, I mentioned whatever kdrama I was watching, and she said, "WHAT??? You watch kdramas, too?" I can't remember whch one I'd been talking about, but we started discussing the characters, the plot, and she told me how she'd gotten her husband into watching, as well. We agreed that it was really unfortunate we hadn't known about each other's kdrama habit till the end of our last session. Those boring…
