Drooling Again!

It's Judy. I just finished up another Joseon period piece, Flower Crew: Josen Marriage Agency, and have fallen in love again. Yes, of course the gorgeous leading man, Kim Min-jae is in my sights but also something new! I have never seen such fabulous, gorgeous, sumptious silks in my entire life. They have solids, they have prints, they have bordered silks, they have ombre silks, they have everything! And surprisingly this is mainly on men. The show is about three young men who operate a matchmaking service and boy are they dressers! The combinations of colors.... magenta with orange, teal with navy, purple with fuschia, silver with aqua, black with gold, irridescent colors, subtle colors, bold colors..... it goes on and on.

On my next trip to Korea I'm going to ask my fabulous Travel Agent, Song from GK Tours, to try and arrange a private visit to the costume department for this series. It will be a feast for the eyes! Maybe I could even snag some silk to create a quilt with.... be still my heart!

Park Ji-hoon is the snazziest dresser of the group. Just look at that fabric!

And the show itself rates a 8.5 from me. It has the classic love triangle, betrayal, palace intrigue, plot twists, heartbreak, redemption, wonderful cliches, and gorgeous men.... add beautiful silk to the mix and you can't go wrong!
