How did we survive without binge-watching?

'Mr Sunshine' is a 24-episode show and I strongly recommend bingeing. My personal preference was 2 shows per night at the beginning....this quickly changed so that I had to force myself not to binge 4 shows per night. It was almost impossible to turn the show off!
My mindset at this point was still tilted towards American TV shows....watch them casually....switch between different genres and shows... just a general low level of interest to keep me occupied. Episode 2 of Mr Sunshine is probably when my mindset started to change. By this point the two most important characters have been featured and a 'connection' develops between them. I'm not going to discuss what happens. You should actually watch this show; but there are plenty of blogs and websites that describe the various episodes; for example you could take a look at https://kjtamusings.wordpress.com. This blog, Kdrama Gmamas, is more focused on our reactions and emotions than the story line.
The male lead Eugene Choi (played by Lee Byung Hun) is perfect in this role! Tall, dark, & handsome! I don't understand how he can emote such deep feelings without words or facial movements. When he and female lead Go Ae-sin (beautifully portrayed by Kim Tae Ri) interact it takes your breath away. So much feeling with so little action! Kdramas are much more subtle and mysterious than American shows! I think I could stare into Lee Byung Hun's eyes any day....
People ask me 'what's so good about Kdramas' and my response is everything! The character development, the unusual story lines, the poignancy, the complexity, the gorgeous Korean actors, the cinematography, and on and on. Once I completed Mr Sunshine I rated it an A++ and asked Pat P for another suggestion.
'Crash Landing on You' was next up on the hit parade.

Apparently I’ve been missing out - I’ve never even heard of a Kdrama - I’ll need to get in the loop!
I love my KDramas. Can’t get enough of them. I’m hooked
I haven’t had this much fun since my youngest child went to college!
