*Really, more like true confessions.

Okay, no surprise here. I’m totally obsessed with Kdramas. (Is that redundant? Can you be partially obsessed?). When I’m all in, I don’t want to stop for anything. That includes doing chores, making dinner, exercising, yadda, yadda, yadda.

So…I’ve started watching Kdramas in English when I have to get something else done and I can’t read the screen. Yesterday I made an entire batch of cookies listening to an episode of Dali and Cocky Prince. (The part here that will be foreign to my blog partner is MAKING COOKIES. I’ll have to explain this complicated procedure to her at another time). I even rode the exercise bike and watched part of When Life Gives You Tangerines. There are just some things that are more important than getting your heart rate up, right?

I do want to say that this is not the preferred method of tuning in to a Kdrama, and I’d never do it with any of my all time favorites. But, it gets the job done. ~ Pat

She's like Benedict Arnold. I am a purist and would never stoop to this level. Kdramas are meant to be listened to in Korean! You will miss the intonations, the emotions, the humor if you are listening in English! Sacrilege for sure! And by the way, I know how to bake cookies. My problem is that you cannot make cookies for dinner every night; only some nights. ~ Judy

I don’t want to go this low, but I have to do all that stuff for two people. Besides, I give most of the cookies away, and if you lived here, you’d get some. So no cookie shaming, please.
