WHINING AND PINING

It's Pat and It’s got to be said, and it’s got to be said right now: I MISS MR. SUNSHINE. There just isn’t anything as good, as compelling, as romantic, or as cinematically gorgeous as Mr. Sunshine. You know I’ve tried and tried and tried to find something as excellent but it hasn’t happened so far. Okay, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God runs a close second, but just second. It’s in the ‘always a bridesmaid but never a bride’ category.
Anyone feel like I do? Weigh in, please.
It's always a shock for me when I hear people talk about what their favorite Kdrama is. Most people pick fluffy, lightweight shows like Hometown Cha Cha Cha or something like that. Now I'm a big fan of the dimples shown in Cha Cha but at no point does it hit the same level of quality as Mr Sunshine. Pat and I have discussed this; we wonder if the fact that Mr Sunshine was our FIRST Kdrama comes into play. Is it kind of like that 'First Love' that you yearn for the rest of your life? Does it make all the ones that come later somehow not stack up?
We like to think that our opinions are on par with Siskel and Ebert.... that we are informed, cultured, and can be trusted with our recommendations. In fact we could do a talk show about Kdramas that would be just as compelling as their old show... wonder who I should contact about this? ~ Judy
They're both long gone. We're still here, and we would be the perfect duo to pick up the reins, don't you think? ~ Pat

I still think Crash Landing on You is the best one I’ve watched. And it was my first KDrama😊
