For our devoted readers many of you remember that I am taking Korean Language lessons at a local Tucson church. (Shout out to Tucson Young-Nak Church and Marana Korean School!) Well, it's starting to click. No, I cannot carry on a conversation. No, I cannot understand everything being said. But YES I see glimmers!

Last week I jotted down whenever I heard something on a Kdrama that I understood without the subtitle.... These included:
scissors
meat
scallions
rice
bell peppers
why
older brother
delicious
really
by any chance
don't do it
I don't know
no way
how
nice to meet you
long time no see
but
where
sit down
slowly
however
Pretty cool, isn't it? That's 대박 to me!~ Judy
I think it’s fantastic! I found it especially exciting when you accosted a group of Asians sitting next to us in the town square in Munich and started chatting them up in Korean. Thank goodness they understood you! ~ Pat
We don't really know if they understood me.... but they kindly smiled and nodded their heads. ~ Judy

Congrats re your progress!
