So Many Kdramas to watch... so MUCH time

Okay, I’ve got COVID. It’s a bummer. I’m missing out on two weeks of fun, including my 77th birthday. When I first diagnosed, I thought I would just moan and groan in bed and watch Kdramas with no interruptions. Guess what? That’s exactly what I did! I finished Welcome to Samdal-ri and Chocolate. That’s at least 32 plus hours of Kdrama watching right there. Lucky me, right?

NO!! If you haven’t had COVID, it‘s no walk in the park. Everyone has different symptoms, but I was lucky to be able to take paxlovid and alleviate some of them. Lucky me, right?

NO!! I gave up the aching sinuses, the splitting headache, and the sore throat, and I got nausea in return. While trying to watch Chocolate where all they do is cook, I’m nauseated. It is not fun!

Kidding aside, I’m fortunate to have a great doctor, I got excellent care, and I hope to feel better when I’m done with the paxlovid. This will sound weird to Judy, but I haven’t been cooking, and I miss it. I mean, how many cans of soup can one eat? ~ Pat
