YAWN…AND FAST FORWARD

Pat: Here’s my dirty little secret: if I’m bored with an endless crying jag or a scene where a parent is slapping a child around (remember these are Kdramas so the child could be an adult) or a spot that is just too darn scary for me, I’ll use that technique that has saved me countless times, THE 10 SECOND FAST FORWARD. For the devotees of Kdramas who are purists and would never do that, do you know what I have to say to that? PFFFFT! Better yet, THBPTTTTT! (That’s the linguolabial trill in letters.)

It keeps the story rolling, and better yet, it cuts down on my boredom and terror. Try it. You’ll thank me for it.
